Learning Development Institute

Your National Community,
All in One Room

The professional world can feel big, but at our Leadership Development Institute you’ll find your place in it.

As the centrepiece of the CareerTrackers year, the Leadership Development Institute (LDI) brings together interns from first year of university through to final year students and beyond.

This is where lifelong friendships are forged and professional networks are born. Whether you are attending your first LDI or returning as an alumnus, the experience is tailored to you.

Through hands-on learning and shared stories, we bridge the gap between where you are and where you want to be.

Experience the Impact

LDI is a high-impact blend of world-class training, cultural connection and professional networking with mob. It’s also a dedicated space to strengthen your identity and pride.

  • Industry Access: Engage directly with CEOS and community leaders
  • Practical Skills: Dive into tailored workshops on everything from corporate navigation to community advocacy
  • Collective Strength: Deepen your connection to a movement of First Nations professionals
  • Inspiration From The Top: Keynotes from global leaders and Australia’s leading Indigenous CEOs

Celebrating Excellence

LDI concludes with our National Gala Awards where we celebrate the outstanding achievements of our interns, alumni and partners. It’s a night of storytelling and recognition that showcases the incredible impact our community is making across Australia.

Ten national awards are presented to individuals and partners who exemplify excellence, leadership and a commitment to creating opportunities for the next generation of First Nations professionals.
